"I aim to pursue undergraduate study in the visual arts since it is a strong passion of mine. As long as I can remember, I have created art. From drawing on doors with Sharpie, to drawing on my schoolwork, to getting my first sketchbook, to getting to high school and taking IB Visual Arts, I have always had the drive to create. My ultimate goal is to work in the design industry, ideally in animation."

During this pandemic, it was vitally important that everyone stay safe. It is so what Deuce would have wanted us to do. In his honor, we all adhered to Governor Whitmer's request and wore our mask!! Briana and her mom were both extremely grateful for the scholarship and we were excited to award another International Academy student with the DeuceMan Strong Scholarship!

Deuce applied for the International Academy of Macomb. When it was time to take the test, he could barely walk into the building. He was determined to take the test. He suffered through and pass the test as he did with any other test he took. He was able to learn of his acceptance while in the hospital and was also able to brag to his cousin that he got into IA without having to be placed in a lottery!
